Abstract

Hypothesis:
Novel and emerging Rhabdoviruses such as the Le Dante virus and Adumi virus may contribute to acute febrile illness in patients in Northern Uganda.
Objectives:
To develop serological assays for novel Rhabdoviruses recently discovered in Northern Uganda.
Aims:
Develop and improve existing EIA based serological assays for Le Dante and Adumivirus to be used for sero-surveillance in Ugandan populations for pathogen exposure.
